Peter W. Schoen, president of Harmony Elder Services, has worked with the elderly for more than 25 years. He is licensed as a nursing home administrator and as an assisted living facility administrator.

 

Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University and a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Florida International University.

 

A leader in the community and his profession, Peter is president of Rotary Club of Plantation, an international service organization, a member of the Legislative Committee of Broward Coalition on Aging (BCOA), past president of District 11, Florida Health Care Association, and the first preceptor in the State of Florida for nursing home administrator qualifying exams. He is also a member of the Florida Guardian Association and the Elderly Services Resource Network (ESRN).

 

Peter established Harmony Elder Services because “People want to live comfortably and independently in their homes. I am convinced that being able to remain in a familiar environment helps people maintain a high quality of life. I have observed this firsthand, in my career as a nursing home administrator and with members of my own family.
